What a MONTH!!! Thank you to each one of you who helped at our hosted events in February! It took many hands to make it happen – and I have heard great things from those who attended. We would not have been able to provide this opportunity to our students without you!

But the fun doesn’t stop there! Upcoming on Wednesday is the MPA performances for all three concert bands in Hartselle (Hartselle High School, 1000 Bethel Road Hartselle, AL 35640) Concert (1:45pm), Symphonic (2:45pm), Wind Ensemble (4:15pm) – if you have time to come watch please do! The performances are open to the public and are free. Our Varsity Guard is headed to Knoxville for a competition and then we are off to Disney World before spring break!

The popcorn fundraiser ends on Tuesday March 3rd at 6:30pm – share your stores on social media and get your order in before you miss out! Seriously delicious popcorn – and your student earns 50% of their sales to their band account!

Please make sure you are prepared to turn in needed medications. Forms are here.

Prescription medications REQUIRE a signature from the Doctor.

Disney medication turn in will be on Monday March 9th.

Make sure you are prepared.

Uniforms:

Reminder that MPAs are this Wednesday and students should be prepared to bring their concert uniform with black socks/hosiery and black dress shoes.

Fundraising

Our Double Good popcorn fundraiser is on now! The sale only lasts four days, so you can go ahead and follow the link, download the app, and set up your store to be ready. Students will receive 50% profit from all sales to their band account.

Thank you to everyone that volunteered yesterday and at our other 2 competitions. All of our events were successful due to everyone working together. We couldn’t have pulled off 3 competitions in a row without your time and dedication. Thank you!!!

Event Hospitality

We cannot thank you enough for making the hospitality station shine this month. Thank you to our set up & clean-up crews, all who dropped by to lend a hand during tear downs…and of course, a big shout out to those who shared their culinary creations with the visiting directors. You are an impressive bunch. (We really should host a recipe swap!)

We are looking forward to our next big event where we get to host YOU! Please save the date for the Band Banquet: May 14. Details will be coming out in the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, we hope you have a wonderful/restful/joy-filled March! Amy & Christie

Account balances:

Please review your students account, and submit payments for any open Fall class fees and uniform charges as soon as possible. Please reach out to me if you need to setup a payment plan or have some temporary circumstances that could impact your payment schedule. We are more than happy to accommodate your situation.

CASH PAYMENTS NEED TO BE COUNTED BY DIRECTORS BEFORE BEING PUT IN BOX.

Please monitor CutTime for band related fees and payments.

Payments can be made by dropping off checks and/or cash in the band room drop box, ensuring checks have a valid drivers license number, 2 phone numbers, and reference the students name. For cash payments, please ensure one of the directors confirms the cash count on the envelope with the students name.
