Hope everyone had a wonderful Homecoming weekend! Senior Parents – how are you doing? For those who ordered banners, your student will be bringing them home this week. Thank you to everyone who helped put up and take down the banners for the home games – it is greatly appreciated!

We could still use more candy donations for the BOA trip. They can be brought to the directors office.

We have our last away game on friday and the Contest of Champions on Saturday. It would be awesome to do a send-off for the students when they load the buses – around 11:15ish on Saturday. Plan to be there at 11am if you want to participate!

Concessions

We made it through another season of football concessions — what a wild ride! Thank you to every single person who volunteered. It was hard work, but we managed to have a lot of fun along the way. Mary and I are truly grateful for the chance to work alongside you and to get to know so many new faces. We’re already looking forward to next season and another amazing team of dedicated volunteers!

Student Hospitality:

I’ve added a Saturday meal slot on 10/25 as the scheduling has changed slightly and we are feeding the student’s lunch. Please note that our needs change based on the competition schedule and can be fluid up to a few days before the event so we could have new volunteer opportunities for the BOA trip, as well. Fundraising –

PECAN SALES ON GOING! All bags are $15 each with the student receiving $5 per bag sold. Order form is attached for you to print and start taking orders. Cash or check made out to BJ band is accepted.
- Money and order forms are due to the band box no later than Monday November 3!
- Pecans will hopefully come by Thanksgiving but there is no guarantee.
- Please note, we will NOT be selling the following items from the order form:
  - 12 oz mammoth halves
  - Small pecan pieces
  - Medium pecan pieces
Kroger Rewards -We would greatly appreciate it if you would allow Kroger to donate to the band. We have a revolving store! Meaning – your order will be processed in approximately 7 days from ordering. You will receive an email when your order is ready for pick up at Make it Personal!

Winter Guard: Winter Guard auditions are November 10th and 12th. More details to come.

**Uniform Committee **

WASH YOUR UNIFORMS!
Stain treatment (CLICK HERE) is essential weekly.
Please remember to report any uniform issues to jenni.s.harvey@gmail.com and bring uniforms to the school on Monday if any repairs are needed. (Uniforms can be left with directors for the uniform committee to pick up)
Any stains that don’t come out with stain treatment should be reported to avoid being charged the cleaning fee. Stains and any other uniform issues can be reported using the Uniform Issue form

Photography Team

Please remember videos of the COMPETITION show should not be posted publicly until after the season has completed.

Photos from each photographer are typically uploaded within a few days after each event. Timing can vary depending on the number of pictures taken and the photographer’s schedules. Not all pictures are uploaded at once. Be sure to check back throughout the week as we add more!

Volunteer Coordinator

If you’re signed up for a position that involves working with students in any way, a BIB card is required. Link to apply here. Treasurer

Payments from Parent night have all been entered into CutTime. Any questions please email bjhsbands+treasurer@gmail.com CASH PAYMENTS NEED TO BE COUNTED BY DIRECTORS BEFORE BEING PUT IN BOX.

Please monitor CutTime for band related fees and payments.

You can make payments two ways:

1 – Drop off checks and/or cash in the band room drop box, ensuring checks have a valid drivers license number, 2 phone numbers, and reference the students name. For cash payments, please ensure one of the directors confirms the cash count on the envelope with the students name.

2 – Pay online through the Madison City Schools payment portal. https://payportal-mcs.csiepay.com/Views/Payment/Pay.aspx
