What a wonderful WGI Colorguard Regional Event!  Thank you to all of you – we would not have been able to have such a successful event without you.  It takes many hands to keep an event like this flowing so well and under such conditions!  Thank to all for making it possible.

Event Hospitality

To our WGI crockpot & dessert providers…THANK YOU!!! What a wonderful variety of dishes and treats.  You made a lot of people very happy! 

Next week, we will host 79 groups at SCGC.  Our station will be hoppin’ and we are looking forward to providing our visitors with more good meals.  Be on the lookout tomorrow (2/16) for an email that gives logistical info for food drop off and pick up!

Band Together Launch

If you have not heard, we are launching a program called Band Together. The All-Inclusive Band Program aims to provide
every student—regardless of experience or disability—with the opportunity to participate in a dynamic and supportive percussion ensemble. This initiative will promote musical excellence, peer mentorship, and school spirit through performances and community involvement. You can check out the launch site at:

  • Please review your students account and submit payments for any open Fall class fees and uniform charges as soon as possible.  Please reach out to me if you need to setup a payment plan or have some temporary circumstances that could impact your payment schedule.  We are more than happy to accommodate your situation.

CASH PAYMENTS NEED TO BE COUNTED BY DIRECTORS BEFORE BEING PUT IN BOX.

Payments can be made by dropping off checks and/or cash in the band room drop box, ensuring checks have a valid drivers license number, 2 phone numbers, and reference the students name.  For cash payments, please ensure one of the directors confirms the cash count on the envelope with the students name.


Event Hospitality

The band is seeking 1-2 volunteers to head up the Event Hospitality Committee for the 2026-2027 school year.  As a way to “pass the torch,” successfully, current leads (Amy Walton & Christie Fay) will be available to mentor & advise you as you make this area your own. This is your time to shine!  If interested, please contact Neda Ballard.
