I know our schedule is crazy right now so I thought I would send some reminders.

STUDENTS: Remember to bring everything you need for the game tomorrow to school. Report to the band room at the beginning of 4th block. We are leaving at 1:30pm. REMEMBER TO BRING $2 for pizza (put in band box).

COMPETITION BAND: check the rehearsal schedule for Friday and Saturday in my previous email.

FOOTBALL BAND: Per the email I sent last night, remember we have a joint rehearsal with DMS in prep for March on Madison. It will be Monday from 5:00-5:30 at our field. Then NO REHEARSAL the day of March on Madison, just our performances. I’ll be sending more details soon on performance order and other logistics.

Just a reminder that tomorrow after school individual band pictures will be taken for those who wish to participate. You will be able to view the proofs and order your pictures online.

Jazz band will go first. Those participating in AP recognition will be able to have their picture taken afterwards.

Please bring your uniform and instrument. You do not need your hat. We will use a hat from the band room for everyone.

Hey everyone,

So I’ve put together the details as they exist right now for the next 3 weeks. This includes the rest of the regular season football games, “March on Madison” next Tuesday, and the remaining two competitions. Please read carefully and print out for your references. It’s a LOT of information. We really need your help in making the next three weeks happen.

I will continue to send weekly schedules with the most up to date information; however, I don’t expect much to change. Please pay close attention to our rehearsal schedule, as it is quite different for the next three weeks, football band especially.

Once again, thank you for your hard work and effort so far this season. It’s definitely been a good one so far. We want to finish it just as strong as we’ve started. Please be prompt, prepared, and professional.

The sign up for concessions for March on Madison is READY! Sorry for the mix up there.

We will have pizza for dinner on Thursday immediately after the game at the stadium. Please contribute $2 per person by putting it in an envelope with your name in the band box.

Tonight is our Spirit Night at Stevie B’s! Don’t forget your discount card!

Please remember:

Oh My! There is a lot going on this week!

Monday – Turn in money for discount cards sold or unsold discount cards.

Monday night – Spirit Night for the Dance Team at Chick-fil-a, 5-9pm. Ask to have your receipt placed in the box for the dance team. You can also use the drive thru.

Tuesday night – Stevie B’s spirit night 3:00-9:00

Don’t forget your Stevie B’s coupon card!

Wednesday after school starting at 3:45 – Greg Machem with be here for individual pictures. This is not required. Dance Team will also have their group picture because they did not have their uniforms over the summer.

Thursday is game day! Kick off is at 4:00 at Milton Frank Stadium. The kids will leave from school. Please make sure you bring everything you need for the game. We will have pizza immediately following the game at the stadium. Please eat lunch that day. It will be close to 7:00 when we have dinner.

We need CHAPERONES! If you are available, please sign up on CHARMS for Oct 16th – even if you signed up for the 17th.

Friday – ticket money for March on Madison is due. You must sell two tickets and turn in $10. All other sales go into student accounts.

Saturday – Competition in Hoover. There will be more details coming from Ms. Thomas, but everyone wants to know – when do we eat? Eat lunch before we leave. We will eat dinner at the concession stand at the competition after our performance. Please bring money for that.

Next week –

October 21st March on Madison at 6:30. Gates open at 6:00.

October 24th – Senior Night – if you have a senior, you should have received an email from Janine asking for the students’ names and their escorts. Please respond to her ASAP.

As always, please check the CHARMS calendar for opportunities to volunteer in concessions (there are still openings for the 24th) and chaperones.
