2025 Rocket City Marching Invitational will be held Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025.

We are proud to offer a one-on-one critique session with a non-scoring judge that watches your performance then discusses observations and goals with you and your students. Your students also get to watch their performance immediately after so they can apply those critiques. You get twice the feedback with multiple performance opportunities, along with judges being able to guide you in your early season. We hope you’ll join us!!!!

Registration ends Sept. 1, 2025.

Classifications:

• A: 1-40 members
• AA: 41-70 members
• AAA: 71-100 members
• AAAA: 101+ members
  *You can register up a classification.
  *Depending on the distribution of bands,
  these may be edited slightly.

Format:

Prelims

• Best in class trophies available in drum major, color guard, dance, majorette, percussion,
  and band categories for each class.
• Top 8 overall scores regardless of class will advance to finals. Overall scores are
  weighted as follows: 50% Music, 30% Visual, 20% General Effect

Finals

• Judges will switch captions for finals.
• Awards given for best overall drum major, visual ensemble (guard/dance/majorette),
  percussion, visual, music, and general effect.
• 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall scores will be awarded. Other finalist bands will receive
  an award for advancing to finals. Overall scores weighted the same as prelims.

Special fan favorite award will be voted on and chosen by the audience.
