If you weren’t at the meeting on the 12th, we missed you! If you were, and I didn’t have enough copies of our fundraising report for you to see, you may be interested in taking a look at it now to see what we’ve accomplished so far this year. Everything we bring in either helps students directly, or helps to keep our booster fees low.
Some of you are new to band this semester and we welcome you! Many of you have been avid supporters of our band program already this year. You are all truly appreciated.
As I reported at the meeting, I was in the market for some sippy cups for my grand baby, looked in to making the purchase, and LIsa Burnham, a local Tupperware consultant, graciously signed us up for a fundraiser! There are a limited number of items available, but hopefully there will be something you or someone you know can use. Cindy will send a separate e-mail about this fund raiser as Charms will only send files under a certain size.
In the mean time, take a peek at the accomplishments you’ve made for our band so far this year. You will find it attached to this email. Your support is greatly appreciated!

I’ve heard several parents mention how much their children have enjoyed having the March On Madison DVD. Many thanks to Pete and Paula Shea for all they did to make that happen. We still have some of the DVDs available for sale because the man who reproduced them for us sent extras! He’s someone we should do business with again in the future, I think! If you’d like one, please let me know, or simply place $5.00 in an envelope with your student’s name and put it in the booster box in the band room. Please include the # of DVDs requested, and if your student is not in a music class this semester, put his or her 1st block teacher on the envelope so I can get the DVD to him or her that way. You may also purchase these with your student account, so just let Kathy or me know if you’d like to do that. We have 2 bags of cinnamon glazed pecans left. If you’d like to purchase them let me know. And finally – we have 2 express discount cards left that were never paid for. If you’d like one of those, please let me know. The cost is $20.00, half of which will go to your student’s account. Please don’t hesitate to be in touch if I can help you or answer any questions you may have. Keep your eyes open for the e-mail about the Tupperware fundraiser too!
